In our continued effort to find new ways to increase speed and provide improved service for our clients, we are pleased to announce that beginning December 10th, we will begin providing even faster turnaround on filing services for our South Carolina clients. In addition to hiring extra staff so that we may review and process more quickly, we will be sending all courthouse packets via Early Morning Overnight delivery. What this means for you is that the clerk of court should have your papers in hand by 10am the very next morning after we process it.
In order to accomplish this, though, we will need to increase our pricing slightly. Beginning December 10th, our rates for Evictions in South Carolina will go up by $5 per case. I trust you will agree that this minimal investment will add much, much more to your Property’s bottom line as you start getting your cases processed sooner, enabling you to either recoup your unpaid balances or regain possession and turn those units into new (and hopefully) better-paying residents that much faster.
For most of you, this means the total cost of an eviction in South Carolina will be $95 (that includes our attorney fee as well as applicable filing and service fees). The cost of Writs will remain the same. And remember, you can pass these fees on to your residents after you receive our invoices. If you use a private process server, your total cost will be $85 for evictions plus whatever you pay your process server on your own.
